Medellín is made up by the two branches of the central range, beginning at el Alto de San Miguel. The valley is an inclined flat surface that descends from 1800-1400 meters (height) above sea level, crossed by Medellín River going from south to north for approximately 70 kilometers. “El Volador” and “Nutibara” heaps standout inside the valley. On the range’s branches you’ll find “El Pan de Azúcar”, “El Picacho” and heights to 3.000 meters above sea level like “El Cerro del Padre Amaya”

-The tour starts visiting the “Metro Cable” You'll get to see the “Parque Biblioteca España” in the Santo Domingo barrio, put together by three huge buildings on top of the mountain, this is one of the architectural wonders of the city.

-Botanical Garden and The Wishes Park: we’ll see Medellin’s botanical garden “Joaquín Antonio Uribe” (Live museum) and its scientifically organized collections. The herbarium holds the dry collections, the library holds the documentary part and the live collections are the beautiful garden full of wonderful plants and species. The Wishes Park: Small square in which you can interact with elements that help you understand astronomy concepts and the impact on water consumption, energy and communications. This park is surrounded by a pleasant natural environment with fountains, mirrors, trees and a beach zone.

-Botero’s Square and Antioquia’s Museum: We’ll visit Botero’s square and see 23 sculptures that the Maestro gave as a gift to the city to show in the middle on the city. Antioquia’s Museum possesses Fernando Boteros’ biggest collection and has 17 exhibition rooms plus a temporary one.

-Pueblito Paisa: located at the top of the Cerro Nutibara”. It’s a replica of Antioquia’s traditional towns where you can enjoy incredible sightings of the city. The locals also come here with their kids to fly their kites and enjoy the view.
